Tun Musa Hitam, a simple figure of Malaysia likes to discuss about business and the interests of the villagers. In his mind, palm oil plantations in Malaysia and Indonesia are important to increase the economy of the people and maintain the diversity around.
Tun Musa Hitam thought, palm oil plantation could give employment for others and support to do other businesses around, such as, service and banks. These really develop as same as palm oil enlargement in one region.
Palm oil plantations are enlarged in the remote areas within the goal – to make the region go forward, and better. He thought, Malaysia and Indonesia could be successful to develop its own country from the harvest of the plantation.
“The economy in Malaysia and Indonesia could be developing from the harvest of sustainable palm oil plantations in the remote areas,” he recently said.
He also mentioned, the economic progress from the plantation does not derive from the plantation only but also from the smallholders and the villagers who got profit. Palm oil plantations help the government to provide kinds of work that the plantation and the villagers need of.
He thought, the plantation could support the government’s programs for the people namely to conquer the poverty. “By working hard in the plantation, the villagers could be lifted up from the poverty,” he emphasized.
